Our Training
Aspire Counselling Academy, previously known as The Listening Post Training has been providing qualifications within counselling since 2019 and has seen many students complete their counselling training with us.
We pride ourselves in providing qualifications from level 2 to level 5 that are taught by practicing counsellors, who bring in their knowledge, skills and experiences to enhance and develop our students experience and understanding of counselling training.

One approach to education and training is to learn, and understand, person centered therapy, a method developed by Carl Rogers. By focusing on the individual's unique needs and experiences, person centered therapy can help individuals achieve personal growth along with self-actualization.
Organizations such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) provide training and certification in person centered therapy, ensuring that professionals have the necessary skills to provide effective, genuine, and compassionate service to their clients.
